If you enroll in the Aetna Healthfund Choice plan, you are eligible to open a Health Savings Account (HSA), administered by HealthEquity. An HSA can help you pay for eligible health care expenses such as medical, dental, vision care, and prescription drugs.

Contributions cannot exceed the annual IRS maximums. In 2022, the IRS maximum for individual coverage is $3,650 and for family coverage is $7,300. If you are age 55 or over, you may contribute an additional $1,000.
When you enroll in an HSA, you will receive a HealthEquity debit card. You can also submit claims online through your own personal account at www.healthequity.com.
